Chung Un-chan

Former Prime Minister of Korea

As we approach August 15th, the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation, the upcoming 2025 Korean Dream Hangang Festival will be a historic occasion to share our collective vision for national unity and peaceful unification.

This year’s festival celebrates the spirit of the Korean people who, over the past 80 years, have achieved what is known as the "Miracle on the Han River." It is a moment to reflect on our past achievements and come together in pursuit of a brighter future - one that includes a peacefully unified Korean Peninsula. Through culture and the arts, we aim to inspire national aspiration, open dialogue, and a deeper sense of empathy.

At the heart of this event is a powerful message: Solidarity and Harmony Beyond Division.

In a time marked by political polarization and ideological conflict, this festival aspires to serve as a catalyst for overcoming division and rediscovering the shared values that can guide us toward a unified future.

The 2025 Korean Dream Hangang Festival is more than just a celebration. It is the beginning of a national movement for unification, a platform for solidarity and coexistence, and a beacon of hope for a better tomorrow.

We warmly invite your interest and participation.
