
[Terms and Conditions of Membership for People Practicing Unification]
Article 1 (Purpose)
The Terms and Conditions of Membership for People Practicing Unification (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") are intended to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of members and the website of the People Practicing Unification Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Organization") in relation to the use of Internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided through the Organization's website.
A person who wishes to become a member is deemed to have agreed to these Terms by completing the required procedures set by the Organization’s website and clicking the "Sign Up" confirmation button. Matters not stipulated in these Terms regarding the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the Organization's website shall be governed by the Telecommunications Business Act and other relevant laws and customs of the Republic of Korea.
Article 2 (Definitions)
Unless otherwise defined in this Article, the terms used in these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with relevant laws and service-specific guidelines.
- "Service" refers to all services provided by the Organization that users can access, regardless of the type of terminal device used.
- "User" refers to any person who accesses the Organization's website and receives services provided by the Organization under these Terms.
Article 3 (Provision and Modification of Services)
The Organization's website provides the following services to members:
- All information related to the Organization is provided through the Organization's website.
- By agreeing to these Terms, users receive regular or occasional emails containing information about the Organization and various events and activities hosted by the Organization.
- Other content services provided by the website may be modified at any time according to the Organization’s operational needs.
Article 4 (Interruption of Services)
- The Organization's website may temporarily suspend services due to maintenance, replacement, or malfunction of information and communication equipment such as computers, or disruptions in communication. The website may also permanently discontinue services when deemed appropriate by the Organization.
- In the event of service suspension as described in Paragraph 1, the Organization's website will notify users via its website’s announcements. However, if the suspension is due to uncontrollable circumstances (e.g., system failures without the administrator's intent or negligence), prior notice may not be possible.
Article 5 (Membership Withdrawal and Disqualification)
- Members may request the Organization’s website to delete their membership registration (withdraw from membership) at any time. Upon such a request, the Organization's website will proceed with the necessary steps to delete the membership.
- The Organization's website may restrict, suspend, or revoke membership in the following cases:
- If false information is provided during membership registration.
- If another person's use of the Organization's website is obstructed or their information is misused, thereby disrupting electronic transaction order.
- If the Organization's website is used for activities prohibited by law, these Terms, or public order and morals.
- If a member’s qualification is revoked, the Organization’s website will notify the member before deletion and provide an opportunity for explanation.
Article 6 (Notification to Members)
- Notifications to specific members may be sent to their registered email addresses.
- Notifications to an unspecified number of members may be substituted by posting an announcement on the Organization’s website for at least one week.
Article 7 (Protection of Member's Personal Information)
The Organization’s website strives to protect members’ personal information, including registration data, as required by applicable laws.
Article 8 (Obligations of the Organization's Website)
- The Organization’s website shall not engage in activities prohibited by law or these Terms or contrary to public order and morals and shall endeavor to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with these Terms.
- If a user suffers damages due to the intentional misconduct or gross negligence of the Organization’s website, the Organization shall be liable for compensation.
Article 9 (Member's Responsibility for ID and Password)
- Members are responsible for managing their own ID and password, except when the Organization's website is legally responsible under privacy protection regulations.
- Members must not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
- If a member becomes aware of unauthorized use of their ID or password, they must immediately notify the Organization’s website and follow its instructions.
Article 10 (Member Obligations)
Members shall not engage in the following activities:
- Registering false information when applying for or modifying membership.
- Altering information posted on the Organization’s website.
- Infringing on the personality rights or intellectual property rights of the Organization, other members, or third parties, or interfering with their business operations.
- Using another member’s ID fraudulently.
- Sending junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid scheme solicitations, obscene or violent messages, images, or sounds that violate public order and morals.
- Transmitting or posting legally prohibited information, such as computer programs.
- Impersonating the website's administrator or operator or using another person’s identity to post content or send emails.
- Posting or transmitting software viruses or other codes designed to interfere with or destroy computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.
- Engaging in stalking or other activities that harass other users.
- Collecting, storing, or disclosing personal information of other users without consent.
- Using the website for commercial purposes, such as advertising, without authorization.
- Violating other terms or conditions for service use.
If a user engages in the above activities, the Organization’s website may restrict, suspend, or terminate their membership. The member shall be liable for any damages caused to the Organization or other users.
Article 11 (Deletion of Public Posts)
The Organization's website may delete public posts without prior notice and restrict or revoke the posting member’s qualification if the content:
- Defames or slanders another member or a third party.
- Contains obscene material or violates public order and morals.
- Is judged to be related to criminal activity.
- Infringes on the copyrights or other rights of another member or a third party.
- Violates applicable laws.
Article 12 (Copyright and Usage Restrictions)
- Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for works created by the Organization’s website belong to the Organization.
- Members shall not use information obtained from the Organization’s website for commercial purposes or allow third parties to do so without prior consent from the Organization.
Article 13 (Amendment of Terms and Conditions)
- The Organization’s website may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate laws such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Basic Act on Electronic Commerce, the Digital Signature Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization.
- If these Terms are amended, the revised Terms shall apply to users who became members before the amendment, unless the changes violate relevant laws.
Article 14 (Jurisdiction)
Any disputes arising from the use of services between the Organization’s website and members shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.
Supplementary Provision
These Terms shall take effect from July 27, 2023.

Please note that important announcements, sponsorship details, and donation receipts may be sent regardless of your consent.
