<The Incorporated Association People Practicing Unification> (hereinafter referred to as "the Institution," https://en.koreandream10million.com/) establishes and discloses this privacy policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the personal information of data subjects and to ensure the prompt and smooth resolution of related complaints.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

The Institution processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than those specified below. If the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act will be implemented.

  1. Membership Registration and Management

    • Personal information is processed to verify membership intentions, provide identity authentication for membership services, prevent fraudulent use of services, send notices and notifications, and handle complaints.
  2. Provision of Goods or Services

    • Personal information is processed to provide services and content.
  3. Marketing and Advertising Utilization

    • Personal information is processed to provide event and promotional information and to offer participation opportunities.


Article 2 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)

The Institution retains and uses personal information for the period stipulated by law or for the period agreed upon by the data subject at the time of collection, until it is no longer needed and is promptly destroyed.

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)


  1. The Institution processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information) and provides personal information to third parties only in cases where the data subject consents or when there are special provisions in laws such as Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

  2. The Institution provides personal information to third parties as follows:

    • Purpose of Use: Name, Resident Registration Number, Donation Date, Donation Receipt Issuance Date
    • Retention and Use Period: Until the purpose of use is achieved

  2. When entering into an entrustment contract, the Institution stipulates the prohibition of processing personal information beyond the purpose of performing the entrusted tasks, technical and administrative protection measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, supervision of the entrusted party, and compensation for damages in the contract. The Institution also monitors whether the entrusted party processes personal information safely.

  3. Any changes in the details of entrusted tasks or entrusted parties will be disclosed through this Privacy Policy.




Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Their Exercise Methods)

  1. Data subjects may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time.

  2. Requests may be made via email, fax, etc., in accordance with Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and the Institution will take prompt action.

  3. Requests may also be made through a legal representative or an authorized agent. In such cases, a power of attorney form (Form No. 11 of the "Notification on Personal Information Processing Methods (No. 2020-7)") must be submitted.

  4. Requests for access and suspension of processing may be restricted under Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.

  5. Requests for correction and deletion cannot be made if other laws mandate the retention of the data.

  6. The Institution verifies the identity of the requester when handling access, correction, deletion, or suspension requests.




Article 6 (Processed Personal Information Items)

The Institution processes the following personal information items:

    • Mandatory: Email, mobile phone number, name, Resident Registration Number, credit card information, bank account information
    • Optional: Home address, occupation


Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)

  1. Personal information is promptly destroyed when the retention period expires or when processing is no longer necessary.

  2. Destruction procedures and methods:

    • Destruction Procedure: Personal information subject to destruction is selected, and upon approval from the Institution's personal information protection officer, it is destroyed.
    • Destruction Method:
      • Electronic files: Permanently deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery.
      • Printed documents: Shredded or incinerated.
